A Grey’s Anatomy Wedding
Did y’all catch Grey's Anatomy’s winter finale in December? If so, you’ve all witnessed the wedding ceremony of April Kepner (played by Sarah Drew) and Paramedic Matthew (played by Justin Bruening). Let’s see the wedding details. The wedding – almost – took place in a rustic barn which greeted guests a box containing a butterfly to release upon the ceremony exit. Once inside the barn guests sat under beautiful lights and the entire ceremony was decorated with large flower arrangement resting on barrels. Dr. Kepner’s wedding colours were coral, orange, yellow, green, and red. Her bridesmaids were in long flowing coral summer gowns. Since the episode, all the buzz has been about April Kepner’s dress, which is designed by Peter Langner. This gorgeous gown is named Waking Up and is part of Peter Langner’s Reasons and Sentiments Collection. Waking Up has a cotton macramé bodice with a dropped waist and sweetheart neckline. Illusion tulle covers the shoulders while the skirt is a full organza A-line skirt with lightly placed flowers near the hem of the skirt. Additionally, Peter makes a matching veil. Peter Langner shows the skirt with a blush colored sash around the natural waist. Through all the drama, you might have missed the gorgeous detailing on the gown – so we have shared a couple of close ups from Peter Langner’s website. Among the highlights was April being walked down the aisle by her real-life father, Rev. Charles Drew. As the actress said, producers were looking for a "redheaded guy" to walk April down the aisle and she suggested her father.
